Similar issue here. Cannot rebind any of the firing buttons, or get the joystick inputs for my X360 controller to move the character. If I have my Nostromo plugged in, I can configure the joystick buttons (except for the lower 2 trigger buttons) for player 4, but not player 1. If I unplug that, I can configure the buttons for player 2, not 1.
Neither option gives me the ability to play a single-player game. The Nostromo, itself, works fine, but that's still a keyboard extension, and I don't want to wear out the keys on that any more than I do my keyboard.A 'hold key down to continually fire' toggle would be wonderful. Originally posted by:these all sound like third party controller issues.for the nostromo, just unplug it (before starting the game) or disable one of the human interface devices (usually the bottom) but THAT is a nostromo issue and it has existed atleast since windows xp.I was mentioning the Nostromo because its a part of my system. I did disconnect it with no change to the usability of the standard X360 controller. Restarting the computer with the Nostromo disconnected and disabling the program also did nothing to change the controller issue. The X360 controller works perfectly fine for any other game I have, so no, it is not a 3rd party issue.
