Hey everyone!Just so you know stream has ended. We had a lot of follows that i assume came from here! Wanted to say thank all of your for so much support. If your curious we will be playing more Caves of Qud on Monday the 6th and be playing it all week. I tend to start around 2pm EST and go for 5 hours (but I've been pushing to start earlier).What Happened During Stream.If you're curious what we've done so far we created a Praetorian True kin as our first character with very balanced Str Agi Toughness stats. At first I figured we would make a sword and board tank but last moment, since my agi was high, I switched into going ranged skills. If you want more information on the build let me know!

I dont mind sharing!!Being my very first time playing this We started in Joppa since it's apparently the safe place to go. We received a few quests and was able to turn in the first artifact quest pretty easily!

So with the knowledge of playing past rogue-like games a like 10 years ago I opted to run around and avoid the first quest and just manually explore to gain a few levels and to read up on the nearby enemies. Eventually we hit level 5 just exploring and killing so many things. At that point the build really started to feel like it was coming together and I opted to head over to the caves where the first quest mentioned (north? Of Joppa).So we are spelunking seeing how far down we can go and I was surprised it was further then just 2 floors! Eventually we make it to the bottom and kill a few of. I don't remember what kind of spider it was? Started with a G?

Or something like that. We grab the corpse and we start following the river until I ran into an elite (someone in chat pointed out it was an elite) and we figure why not try to take him on! That mindset didn't last long after 1-2 turns I ran away thinking my first character was going to die. We escaped with barely, on fire, and struggling to outrun some of the enemies. Decided we better camp here before we die and did so (caught myself on fire again trying to learn how to camp correctly lol) then we headed back to Joppa.In Joppa we turned in the respective quests & decided to head out and collect copper wire. Wow did the enemies scale over there very fast.

At this point our main character (Named him PolarDash over a friend) struggled and fought tooth and nail to barely survive all the guys who apparently all have fire mutations (ghost hands?) and he had almost died at least 4-6 times before he ran out of ammo. In a panic Polar ran out of the dungeon through many baddies causing him to almost die once again.After this we ran around clueless attempting to find anyplace that sold bullets. We got lost multiple times, each time hoping we wouldnt die from the enemies around until (someone in chat pointed out) to go to the city in the top left corner of the overworld. We barely get there - swimming through god knows what and that's where we ended the stream.Sorry for the messy synopsis - I didnt expect to enjoy this game this much and wanted to share the experience.

My playthrough is going very slow (reading all the text and abilities as i go through chat + monster and item descriptions) but its so fun I didnt stream the other game that was on the menu.If for some reason you read this then thank you!
