Summer Vacation Studentships. Grants are available for stipends of £279 per week for 6 weeks, and up to £1,674 in total, to support an undergraduate student to carry out a summer lab placement. This scheme not only benefits the student as they get valuable research experience, but the supervisor also gains an extra pair of hands in the lab.
I have low expectations for children's films because they're usually terrible. This film isn't very good, even by those low standards.
You can see that it wants to be a family friendly action film, with a bit of heartwarming stuff between the kid and his dinosaur. It fails pretty hard at that. There's no humour or charm here. There's no chemistry between the actors, or between the actors and the cgi creatures. A dark room ending.
The set pieces are weak. Both my child and I got bored very quickly.

It's a shame, because it could have been so much better. We deffo need films like this.
Give your pets some down time in Pet Society Vacation
Everyone needs a vacation every now and then, and that includes your pets. And they’re finally getting that chance in Pet Society Vacation, an upcoming iPhone spin-off of the Facebook game Pet Society. Not only will the game let you explore a brand new location, but it will feature Facebook integration as well, letting you earn bonuses by playing both games.
The game takes place amongst some tropical islands, as your pets get set to relax in their very own, fully customizable houseboats. You can also visit your friends’ boats and the game features brand new clothing and accessories to gussy up your pets with. Not only that, but developer Playfish will be adding new content on a weekly basis to ensure there’s always new items to collect.
To compliment all of the houseboat decorating and pet makeovers, you’ll also be able to play a scuba diving mini-game that lets you both earn cash and find treasure. Vacation isn’t just a Pet Society spin-off, though, as it also features integration with the Facebook version of the game, letting you earn extra money and seashells, as well as exclusive items like cell phones, by connecting the two versions.
No specific release date has been announced for Pet Society Vacation, but Playfish says the game is “coming soon.”
